August live cattle closed $2.20 higher at $136.15 and October lives closed $1.47 higher at $140.42. August feeders closed $3.15 higher at $174.87 and September feeders closed $2.67 higher at $177.40.
It was a typically quiet Monday for direct cash cattle business. Bids and asking prices were not established.
