A west central Minnesota farmer says crop development varies widely in her area.

Jamie Beyer of Wheaton tells Brownfield there were three separate regional flood events that impacted planting.

“We had crops going in as late as two weeks ago, some of those fields weren’t able to be planted originally and some of them were replanted. So we have a high variety of plant heights right now and sizes.”

She says the earlier planted corn is coming along.
