Precipitation was mixed in Indiana last week.

The USDA says rainfall totals across the state ranged from none to just over two inches, with the average falling two tenths of an inch below normal, and now less than half of the state is reporting adequate to surplus soil moisture.

As of Sunday, 45% of Indiana’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition, down 1%, with 39% of the crop silking, compared to the five-year average of 49%, and 3% at the dough making stage, compared to 2% on average.
