Things are looking up for a northeastern Illinois corn and soybean grower.
Steve Pitstick tells Brownfield adequate moisture so far this year has been key.
“We’ve had timely rains, we’ve had pretty warm temperatures,” he said. “I don’t have many worries right now.”
Pitstick said he normally runs into too much moisture.
“We usually lose two to three percent [of the crop] every year to ponding and whatever,” he said.
