Iowa’s climatologist says farmers might get some help from Mother Nature early next month.
Justin Glisan says short-term forecasts show higher chances of rain. “Pollination and tasseling is a very important time of the year,” he said. “It looks like we could get some relief right when we need it.”
He tells Brownfield the state has received timely showers, similar to the 2021 growing season. “That’s really holding the crop on,” Glisan said.
