An ag real estate expert says demand for land is soaring and prices reflect that.

Randy Dickhut with Farmers National Company tells Brownfield, “If you are thinking of selling, it might be as good of time to sell now sooner than later.”

He says land prices continue to be strong. “There’s a lot of uncertainties out there,” Dickhut said. “Weather, commodity prices, Ukrainian war, supply chains, and input costs. These will impact farm incomes here over the next several years.”

Dickhut says a couple of factors that will determine prices over the next few months are the supply of land and its demand.
