Indiana farmer Elaine Gillis says recent rains probably saved their crop.

“It’s made a tremendous difference in how our crops look right now. We’ve probably lost a little bit on the top end of our yield. It’s looking more promising that at least fall harvest isn’t going to be completely miserable for us.”

She tells Brownfield like many farmers they continue to battle parts and equipment shortages, and says they had to get creative so they could continue to work.
