Missouri Governor Mike Parson says he’s calling the General Assembly back to Jefferson City early next month for a special session.

“Starting on September 6th, a single bill combining ag tax credits and income tax cuts will be introduced an originate in the Missouri Senate where we hope for speedy passage,” he said.

The governor says his proposed legislation would extend key agriculture tax credit programs for a minimum of six years.
