A farm policy specialist says she wants to see the Biden administration take more action on trade.
Mary Kay Thatcher is senior manager of federal government and industry relations for Syngenta. “Neither the Trump administration nor the Biden administration agree to do trade policy the way we think of it,” she said. “They don’t want to go in and they don’t want to do an actual trade deal that then gets sent to Congress for approval.”
Thatcher says the US needs to be more engaged.
