The Senate Finance Committee has voted in support of the nomination of Doug McKalip as Chief Ag Negotiator at the United States Trade Representative office.
U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai says McKalip’s decades of public service and knowledge of ag and food security issues will be a major asset as the office continues to advance a trade agenda that benefits farmers, ranchers, and producers.
Tai is urging the full U.S. Senate to confirm McKalip as soon as possible.
