The new president of the National Corn Growers Association is increasingly concerned about Mexico’s proposed ban on GMO corn.
Tom Haag, who farms near Eden Valley, Minnesota, says initially it sounded like only food-grade corn would be affected.
“Well, as they get deeper into this it gets tougher and tougher because (Mexico) might ban our GMO corn going into livestock feed.”
He says NCGA is communicating with the U.S.
