An extension agronomist is blown away by the pace of soybean harvest in Minnesota.

Seth Naeve with the University of Minnesota says conditions have been nearly ideal.

“I just don’t remember a fall that we could get at the crop this early and stay at it this long.”

The most recent crop report from USDA pegged soybean harvest at 63 percent as of Sunday, more than a week ahead of the five-year average.
