Another quiet start for direct cash cattle trade business.  The lone bid to have surfaced is at $234 dressed in the North. Asking prices are at $147 to $148 live in the South and $235-plus dressed in the North.  Look for business to pick up today and into tomorrow.  Today’s Fed Cattle Exchange was a non-starter.  There was an offering of 1,574 head – none of which sold as they did not meet the reserve prices of $147 to $148.
