A group of dairy cooperatives that offer export assistance helped move more than 18 million pounds of cheese and milk powder during November.
Cooperatives Working Together members secured 52 contracts that month, aiding in the sale of 6.2 million pounds of American-type cheeses, 348 thousand pounds of whole milk powder, and 1.2 million pounds of cream cheese.
The November efforts bring the 2022 program sales up to 1.57 billion pounds on a milkfat basis.
CWT pays export assistance as reimbursement to bidders after verified delivery of the products.
