A weakening La Nina could provide some drought relief over the next 10 days.
Brownfield Ag Meteorologist Greg Soulje says milder temperatures will create rapid snow melt, flooding, and rain.
“I wouldn’t be surprised one to three, in some spots better than five inches of rain come on down in many eastern and southern Corn Belt locals, and drought relief too for the Southern Plains.
Soulje says going from freezing to thawing will bring challenges usually seen in the spring.
