Sign-up for the Farm Service Agency’s Livestock Forage Program is open through the end of January. Missouri FSA State Executive Director Joe Aull says livestock producers in more than 50 counties are eligible.
“This provides financial assistance to help settle losses livestock producers had during the drought. We’re trying at FSA to speed up the sign-up process at the county level. Offices are taking appointments.”
Aull says south of I-70 seemed to have the most damage because of drought conditions.
