John Deere revealed new technology for the agriculture and construction industries during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week.
During the company’s keynote address Deanna Kovar, Vice President of Precision Ag Production Systems, introduced new planter technology called ExactShot which uses sensors and robotics to place starter fertilizer precisely onto seeds as they are planted, instead of a continuous flow of fertilizer to the whole row.
