If you go to just about any hip restaurant Brussels sprouts are on the menu somewhere.  Sometimes its with bacon.  Or fried with a balsamic glaze.  But Brussels haven’t always been this “cool”. 

While my kids love Brussels sprouts in any form, it wasn’t a popular vegetable for many of today’s adults when they were kids because they were served overcooked, boiled and mushy giving of a strong sulfur flavor.
