Twenty-one Democrats have been approved to sit on the U.S. House Ag Committee.

Ranking member David Scott of Georgia says the input of the members will be invaluable to continue important conversations and critical decisions surrounding the farm bill. 

Eleven Democrats are serving their first term and three additional members will be named at a later date.
