The Environmental Protection Agency has moved up the dicamba application deadline, further restricting the herbicide in Illinois for the 2023 season.
The federal label change announced Thursday says over the top dicamba applications cannot be made on soybeans after June 12th or the V4 stage in Illinois, Indiana and Iowa.
KJ Johnson, President of the Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association tells Brownfield the timing of the ruling is problematic for members.
