It’s all quiet across cattle country. Packer inquiry could start to pick up as the day progresses, but significant trade volume will likely be delayed until sometime on Friday. Asking prices are around $164 to $165 live in the South, but still not fully established in the North. There’s been some very light, scattered trade reported throughout the week. Live deals in Nebraska and Iowa at $161 to $162, $1 higher than last week’s weighted averages.
