Last week’s business took place mostly on Thursday and Friday with Northern dressed deals ranging from $261 to $268.50, fully steady with the prior week’s weighted averages. Southern live trade had a range of mostly $163 to mostly $165, also fully steady with last week’s weighted averages.
Boxed beef is mixed with choice $.33 lower at $284.58. Select is $1.45 higher at $272.99. The Choice/Select spread is $11.59.
