Food deserts are a huge problem in this country. It doesn’t matter if it is an inner city or a rural area, not addressing the issues impacts the overall health of the country.
During a recent panel hosted by the White House on ending hunger and building healthy communities, Ambassador Ertharin Cousin says those food deserts are an opportunity to promote change and increase access to healthier foods.
