Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended the holiday-shortened week most lower as strong activity in barrel cheese took advantage of lower prices.
April Class III milk up two cents at $18.69. May 11 cents lower at $17.95. June down 11 cents at $18.18. July 12 cents lower at $18.67. August through October contracts five to 10 cents lower.
Dry whey down $0.0450 at $0.3650. Five trades were made from $0.3650 to $0.4075.
