Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed mostly lower Thursday while cash trade was mixed.

April Class III milk up two cents at $18.68. May 29 cents lower at $17.95. June down 19 cents at $18.19. July 11 cents lower at $18.74. August through October contracts six cents lower to four cents higher.

Dry whey down $0.0050 at $0.37. Nine trades were made from $0.37 to $0.38.

Blocks up $0.01 at $1.7925.
