Fieldwork is underway for Southern Indiana Farmer Ben Kron.
“Around Monday we got a break in the rain and got it dry enough here. People started working out in the fields Monday and Tuesday, making sure everything works,” he says. “I expect the gates to open up next week and for it to be full-blown farming season.”
Many parts of the state expereinced severe storms at the beginning of the month.
