Direct cash cattle trade is kicking off with another light round of business.  This time in the North at $281, fully steady with Tuesday’s business.  Southern live deals were marked at $172, $1 lower than the prior week’s weighted averages.  Dressed deals in Nebraska were at mostly $281, $3 lower than the previous week’s weighted averages.  While the South could very well have its business wrapped up for the week, some cleanup trade could take place over the balance of the week.
