Milk futures were lower and cash dairy prices were steady to lower Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
May Class III milk was down $0.08 at $16.68. June was down $0.02 at $17.06. July was down $0.07 at $17.77. August was down $0.04 at $18.53. September through March contracts ranged from two cents lower in October to five cents higher in March.
Dry whey was unchanged at $0.3375. Fourteen sales were recorded from $0.3350 to $0.3375.
