Direct cash cattle trade activity has been slow to develop.  Some bids have been renewed at $177 to $178 live and $280 dressed.  Asking prices are firm at $172-plus live in the South and $282-plus dressed in the North.  Look for more business to develop as the day progresses.  There was some scattered, light trade reported on Wednesday with live deals marked at $176 in the South and $275 to $280 dressed in the North.
