There was no change in the Global Dairy Trade index in Tuesday’s trading session, as the average dairy product price remained at $3,479 dollars a metric ton.
Price increases for butter and anhydrous milk fat offset losses by Cheddar cheese and skim milk powder.
Butter prices were up 5.5% to $5,379 dollars per metric ton or $2.43 per pound.
Anhydrous milk fat was up half of a percent to $4,758 per ton or $2.15 per pound.
