A grant to Missouri Soybeans from the Soil and Water Outcomes Fund will help farmers diversify their operations with another value-added opportunity. Amanda Shetler, with the Soil and Water Outcomes Fund, says they purchase carbon credits from farmers who implement conservation farming practices. Fund recipients must implement no till, cover crops, or an extended rotation that includes a small grain.
