A weed science professor at the University of Missouri says the effectiveness of herbicide applications with spray drones could improve, but more research is necessary.

Kevin Bradley tells Brownfield…

“To dial those in correctly, that really hasn’t been done by the manufacturers and I think that is going to be up to different universities and people to figure all of this out.”

He says spray drones are not as accurate as traditional ground rigs, but with more research, they could eventually be a viable solution for growers.
