U.S. Congresswoman Ashley Hinson says farm bill talks are picking up steam and she has several priorities that would help improve bottom lines for producers.

“Continuing to support conservation programs, crop insurance, and robust animal health support,” she said. “All of those are priorities that I’ve heard directly from farmers and producers in the district.”

When asked about the timing of the 2023 Farm Bill, the Iowa Republican told Brownfield, “Hopefully, we will have that on the flood sometime in September.”

The current farm bill expires September 30th.
