Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange saw big gains Thursday ahead of a bullish milk production report and supported by strong cash cheese sales.
July Class III milk down seven cents at $13.77. August 53 cents higher at $16.27. September up 72 cents at $17.13. October 67 cents higher at $17.91. November through January contracts 37 to 54 cents higher.
Dry whey up $0.01 at $0.25. Eighteen sales were made from $0.2425 to $0.25.
