A Colombian-based food processing company says demand for proteins is growing in his country.
Alejandro Montoya with Groupa Nutresa, tells Brownfield interest in beef, pork and poultry is at an all-time high. “Even though those proteins get to be more expensive for people, and the economy is very tough right now, people need to eat and feed themselves.”
He says Colombia imports the majority of pork and protein from several countries including the US.
