A grain market analyst says some global supply and demand factors are making it more difficult for soybean farmers to market their crop.
Jeff Peterson with Heartland Farm Partners says demand from China could soften. “They’re population has peaked and is starting to get a little smaller. They probably won’t be as strong of a demand factor growing forward as far as growth, but they’ll still be a dominant user.”
Peterson says it’s critical that producers understand how the market reacts, especially when USDA publishes its supply and demand report.
