There’s some scattered light direct cash cattle business underway.  Dressed deals in Nebraska are marked at $295, fully steady with the previous week’s weighted average basis, at $188 live, and $298 dressed in Iowa, $3 above the previous week’s business.  Bids have surfaced at $177 live in the South.  Asking prices are around $296-plus dressed in the North and $182 live in the South.  Look for more business to develop over the balance of the day.
