Milk futures were lower and the cash dairy markets were steady with very light trading activity on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August Class III milk was down $0.05 at $17.27. September was down $0.15 at $17.83. October was down $0.16 at $18.06. November was down $0.21 at $18.17. December through June contracts were unchanged except for December which was down thirteen cents and may which was down one cent.
Dry whey was down $0.0025 at $0.2675. Three sales were recorded, ranging from $0.2675 to $0.26.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.99.
