Milk futures were higher in the near term and the cash dairy markets were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August Class III milk was up $0.06 at $17.33. September was up $0.21 at $18.04. October was up $0.05 at $18.11. November was unchanged at $18.17. December through June contracts ranged from ten cents lower in January to two cents higher in December.
Dry whey was down $0.0050 at $0.2625. Five sales were recorded, ranging from $0.2625 to $0.2650.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0250 at $2.0150.
