Milk futures were higher and the cash dairy markets were mixed Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
September Class III milk was up $0.18 at $18.94. October was up $0.45 at $18.65. November was up $0.14 at $18.33. December was up $0.19 at $18.34. January through July contracts ranged from unchanged in January and from April through July to twelve cents higher in March.
Dry whey was up $0.02 at $0.28. Two sales were recorded at $0.2725 and $0.28.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.9450.
