Milk futures were mixed and the cash dairy markets were steady to lower with little trading Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
September Class III milk was down $0.17 at $18.87. October was up $0.03 at $18.95. November was down $0.02 at $18.54. December was up $0.08 at $18.52. January through July contracts ranged from one cent lower in January to eight cents higher in June.
Dry whey remains unchanged at $0.2850. Four sales were recorded, ranging from $0.2850 to $0.2875.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.9925.
