Direct cash cattle trade activity remains quiet. A few bids have surfaced at $290 dressed. Asking prices are around $181 to $182 live in the South and $292 to $294 dressed in the North. Look for packer inquiry and business to pick up over the remainder of the week. So far this week, there’s only been some scattered business reported. Live deals in Iowa at $184 to $187 and a handful of dressed deals at $290.
