A technical marketing manager for row crop fungicides and insecticides with BASF says farmers should take an active approach in disease management.

Albre Brown says fungal infections can start earlier than the eye can catch it in the field.

“If you rely on a see-and-spray method for management, you’re already taking losses,” she says. “If you want to get the most out of your field, apply a preventative fungicide before onset.”
