Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures and precipitation across most of the country. The greatest likelihood of warmth will stretch from southern Texas to Florida and across the nation’s northern tier.
Meanwhile drier-than-normal weather should be confined to portions of the Rockies and High Plains, as well as the upper Great Lakes region.
