Harvest is underway for Iowa farmer Dave Walton.
“Yield is down and probably 10% from average, which is about what I expected it to be. We’re in a in that part of Iowa and the East Central part that catches the area of drought that’s been hitting northeast Iowa up on up into Minnesota.”
He tells Brownfield corn yields are about what he expected considering the dryness, but he’s not sure about soybeans.
