A Central Nebraska farmer says he’s on the verge of starting harvest.
Clay Govier tells Brownfield, “I think we’re going to start on some irrigated soybeans next week on some of the early stuff we planted, and then it’s going to be a race to the finish.”
He says irrigated corn is in great shape, but dryland crops suffered this summer. “I don’t think we’re going to have any homerun yields this year.
