Whether it’s hot, or cold — let’s raise a glass to celebrate National Chocolate Milk Day. 

There are a couple of different stories about how chocolate milk was created.  One story is that Doctor Sir Hans Sloane created the concoction in 1687.  Another story credits the Jamaicans for brewing a hot beverage from shavings of freshly harvested cacao boiled with milk and cinnamon – that goes all the way back to 1494.
