Michigan Agricultural Commodities has started accepting their first deliveries of soybeans this week as harvest begins.

Robert Geers is Vice President of Merchandising.

“Right now, they’re pretty dry as guys are going after some earlier varieties with the heat that we’ve seen,” he shares.

He tells Brownfield there is premium in corn from end users trying to bridge supplies between old and new crop, but unfortunately harvest is running behind in the state.
