Tropical moisture entangled with a cold front should lead to 2- to 4-inch rainfall totals across the lower Southeast, from southeastern Louisiana to the southern Atlantic Coast.  Meanwhile, a slow-moving storm system crossing the northern half of the country will also deliver heavy precipitation, especially across the northern Corn Belt.  Storm-total precipitation could reach 2 to 4 inches from Wyoming to Michigan, with wet snow expected in the northern and central Rockies and where the Rockies meet the High Plains.
