Bayer and Dollar General have partnered to help school districts in several states provide nutritional support for kids and their families outside of traditional school hours.
Students in participating school districts will receive a coupon for fresh produce that is redeemable at Dollar General stores that offer fresh fruits and vegetables. This coincides with National School Lunch Week. The companies are working to increase access to health and nutrition in communities and address food desert challenges.
